Mitchell Cox joined Turnbridge in 2010 and serves as a Partner and member of the firm’s Investment Committee.  As Co-Head of the firm’s Energy Transition and Sustainability Investing activity, Mr. Cox’s responsibilities range from origination, execution, portfolio growth (organic & via acquisition), management development, strategy, capital formation and exit within the firm’s existing portfolio and with respect to new investment activity across the emerging energy transition landscape.

Prior to joining Turnbridge, Mr. Cox was an investment banker, initially at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and subsequently at Deutsche Bank, where he served as Co-Head of North American Energy Investment Banking and Global Head of Oilfield Service Investment Banking. Prior to becoming an investment banker, Mr. Cox worked for ARCO International Oil & Gas Company in a variety of domestic and international roles that included engineering, operational, and commercial responsibility.

Mr. Cox currently serves as a Director on the Boards of Probe Technologies, Brigade Energy Services, and Loci Controls.  Mr. Cox also serves as Senior Advisor to the Board of Romar Abrado. Previously, Mr. Cox served as Chairman of the Board of USA DeBusk and as a Director on the Boards of Fiberspar (where he Chaired the Audit Committee), Gradiant Energy Services, Aereon, Pipe Pros, Pro-Stim and Allied-Horizontal Wireline.

Mr. Cox has also served on the Vestry and Endowment Board of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, the Board of Post Oak Little League, the Board of Positive Coaching Alliance and as a Trustee of St. Francis Episcopal School.

Mr. Cox holds a B.S in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
