C. Mitchell Cox Joined Turnbridge in 2010 and is a Partner and member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. His responsibilities range from origination, execution, and portfolio growth, to sharing responsibility for the Firm’s strategic and capital raising activities. Mr. Cox currently serves as a Director on the boards of Probe Technologies, Impact Selector International, Brigade Energy Services, Gradiant Energy Services, Pipe Pros and Loci Controls.
Prior to joining Turnbridge, Mr. Cox advised, invested in, and served on the Board of Fiberspar Corporation, and also co-founded Abrado International, and continues to serve on the board of its successor, Romar Abrado. Formerly, Mr. Cox was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where he served as Co-Head of North American Energy Investment Banking and Global Head of Oilfield Service Investment. From 1992 to 2000, Mr. Cox was with DLJ, where he focused on advisory, investment banking, and principal investing in the energy sector. From 1985 to 1990, Mr. Cox worked for ARCO International Oil & Gas Company in a variety of domestic and international assignments that included engineering, operational, and commercial responsibility.
Previously, Mr. Cox served as Chairman of the Board of USA DeBusk and as a Director on the Boards of Allied Horizontal Wireline Services, Pro-Stim, and Aereon. Mr. Cox holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Masters of Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
